• TinkerKit Thermistor Module

The Thermistor module's resistance varies significantly (more than a standard resistors) with temperature. The module output will change from 0 V (when temperature decreases) to 5 V (when temperature increases).

Once connected to the TinkerKit shield, you can expect to read a value ranging from 0 to 1023 coming from the thermistor. As any other TinkerKit module, you can connect it using the 3-pin cable (20 cm, 50 cm, 100 cm).

As many other TinkerKit modules, it is equiped with the standard pair of LEDs. The green LED will indicate that the board is properly powered. The yellow LED will change according to signal intensity, in that case to the amount of lightness.

This module is a sensor: the connector is an output which must be connected to one of the input connectors on the TinkerKit Shield.
